Reservation Policy

Seasons:

In-Season: May 15 to Oct. 31,
Quiet-Season: Nov. 1 to May 14

Minimum Stay:
Although we generally have a two-night stay minimum during in-season weekends and on national holidays throughout the year, the combination of other guests' reservations often creates a one-night stay opportunity for another guest. Please call or email to see if this applies to your visit.

Occupancy:
Rates shown are for single or double occupancy only. The Captain Perkins room can accommodate up to three guests for an additional charge of $25.

Deposits and Payment:
If reserving by check, one night deposit must be made in advance to guarantee reservation. If reserving by credit card, you will not be charged until check-out. Payments at checkout, regardless of what method used to reserve the room, can be made by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), personal check, travelers check or cash. Payment will be charged evening before check- out.

Confirmation:
Within 24 hours of completing your reservation you will receive an email confirmation of your reservation. Please be sure to read your confirmation carefully to insure the dates of your stay and your room choice are correct.  If there is a problem, give us a call and we'll get it fixed.

Gift Cards and Certificates:
If you plan to redeem a gift card for your reservation, please inform the innkeeper upon making the reservation.  The amount of a validated gift card will be subtracted from the total charge of the reservation upon check-out. Failure to present the gift card upon checkout, or if the gift card fails validation, will result in the guest being responsible for the full amount of the reservation. If the gift card is validated for a reduced amount, only the active amount remaining on the gift card will be reduced from the reservation charge. Discrepancies with third party gift cards must be addressed through the issuing agency.

Cancellations:
We understand things come up and life happens, but we are a small business and cancellations affect us significantly. We will gladly deposit money if the reservation is cancelled more than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival, less a $25.00 cancellation fee per room. A reservation cancelled within 14 days of scheduled arrival will result in a charge equivalent of one night's stay per room reserved; to include associated tax. If a reservation is truncated and the guests departs prior to the scheduled departure date, the guest will be charged the full amount of the initial reservation. Additionally, deposits will be forfeited if guest fails to arrive, arrives after confirmed arrival date or departs before final day of the reservation.
